Louisiana Just lost one of its greats.
A friend by the name of Nelson Stokely passed over the weekend. Mr. Stokely was a great player, coach and a friend of the family.. he will be missed.

LSU Vs. Washington – Vegas line has LSU by 18 points.

Well. LSU didnt cover the spread. but we won at least. (31-23).

IMO we did well in a number of areas, however our defense was lacking. We should have been a brick wall to these guys.. in reality we were more of a  hay stack. I’m sure the coaches will go back and work a little more after this outing on some certain things. We would certainly have a much harder time winning in the conference if we play the same way we played tonight. No room for anything less than perfection in the SEC !

LSU didnt fare as well last night as we would have hoped. Their offense just could not control the line of scrimage the result a devistating loss 51-21. Towards the end of the game last night (at least the last 2 touchdowns) you could tell the defense was either dead tired or just not into the game anymore.Disappointing game. Especially since i know we are capable of so much better. I’m sure the coaching staff will review and make appropriate adjustments though. We have a very talented team and a very talented coaching staff.

Vegas has this match up right now favoring Florida by 6pts (but what do they know)

Great game here, Great offense vs. a Great defense.

LSU has great freshman in Jarrett Lee, we think Jarrett wil really breakout this game and start to Lead the tigers.

LSU’s running back Charles Scott is doing incredibly well as well. that combined with two of the best offensive lineman in college football (Ciron Black and Herman Johnson) make LSU an unstoppable force against flordia. That being said, Flordia does have a good defense. but I dont think this game will be any tougher than the Auburn game. Quite frankly I think it will go a little better.

Auburn has a great defense. Auburn leads the SEC and ranks third nationally in scoring defense, while LSU is 10th nationally. LSU is fifth nationally in rushing defense while Auburn is ninth. In total defense, Auburn is 10th nationally and LSU is 12th. If you look at the stats, the record clearly shows that a large number of LSU/Auburn games are decided by less than a touchdown and their win/loss records against each other are pretty close to even.

I think special teams will play a part in this game. I am hoping our special teams coach did some unique prep work for Robert Dunn.

That being said, our young and new Quarterbacks have had 2 “pre SEC” games under their belt. I think they are prepared and ready to go into this battle. I think LSU will edge out a close victory in the battle and beat Auburn (on their own turf mind you). by four points.
